Grounds Maintenance Supervisor
37 hours per week, based in Preston
Temporary for up to one year to cover absence
£33,450.62 per annum
We are looking for someone to oversee the operational delivery of our Grounds Maintenance and Environmental Services work, and the work of external contractors, ensuring an emphasis on high quality service that delivers value for money. This is a temporary role to cover colleague absence.
What we are looking for:
- You'll have previous experience in a supervisory role, working closely with colleagues and customers.
- You'll communicate well, both verbally and in writing, to enable you to build great relationships quickly, and respond to customer queries.
- You'll have a good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- You'll need a valid driving licence and a vehicle insured for business use as you will be doing some travelling in the local area.
It would be great if you also had:
- A broad understanding of grounds maintenance / environmental services (fly tipping, block cleaning, graffiti removal etc)
- An understanding of health and safety related to grounds maintenance / environmental services
